Description from Kathryn R: The full moon in October is called the Hunters’ Moon. This year it will be on the 20th. Last year it was a Blue Moon on Halloween. I tried to capture some colors that show how it changes from golden peach when it rises on the horizon to when it shines through the trees and high in the night sky. Some of these components would look nice together in a design.

I used your great information when the meteorologist on Wednesday evening called the full moon the harvest moon, I corrected him from my recliner. It was gorgeous! Last night it looked like a tiny little bits was taken out of it by an animal with jagged teeth.
