“Owned by a CAT!”

Description from Kathryn R: Ok, it's official. Boots, our extremely fluffy Ragdoll rescue cat (aka Mr. Fluffypants) is THE most spoiled rotten cat in the country. Most likely the world. He must be kept indoors for his own (and the songbirds') safety. When not demanding tummy rubs,he stomps around the house yeeoowwling about what a "mighty hunter" he is regarding moths. He dreams of escaping to the outside to hunt birds. So the next best thing is moths; although at times he terrifies us with death-defying leaps to the top of my kitchen cupboards. Nonetheless, he's won our hearts.

Nice kitty pick! Many cute earrings, bracelets, and necklaces possible! Sounds like Boots has it good. I had a cat named Panda who only chased moths, never birds. Such a sweety. Now I only watch and feed birds. But I do miss having a cat.

Boots sounds like an awesome kitty! My big boy, Oscar is a large yellow cat- I love him. I also love your pick- I didn’t realize LB had so many cat beads. You did puurrfic with this pick!

Oh, yes, all cats believe they are the head of the household – no question, no discussion … especially if they are a Siamese!
I do miss having a cat.

Wonderful cat pick, Kathryn! Boots sounds like the perfect kind of cat to have– or be had by. I wish I had a Boots to take ownership of me, demanding belly rubs and defending my sweaters from being eaten. I miss my dear kitties, litter mates Enzo & Cedric. Cedric was the lethal hunter; Enzo, dear thing, was hopeless in that department, but the most bonded, affectionate cat ever. But now I’m married and my husband has said “never again” to having cats. We have a wonderful dog, but there is nothing quite like a great cat. It could be my toxoplasma infection talking.

Boots sounds like fun! Years ago we had a cat named Lucky who would sneak grasshoppers into the house so he could play with them!

Over the past many decades I have been owned by many different types of cats. What I mean is different personalities. I could write a book but I won’t. The one I have left is 17 and sick and I swear has dementia. I had one of those who like to “fly” up to the top of the refrigerator or kitchen cabinets. I love your pick and the many cat beads reminds me of so many of my kitties.

Love your Kitty (& your pick!). I first learned about Ragdolls with 1 of our rescue barn cats. I had been petting her on my lap for a few minutes and she slowly collapsed, went limp and droopy and I thought she had just died!! Nope- just doing the ragdoll thing! She was fine. Quite a memorable moment!

Thanks, Beady! Nancy, that’s heartwarming to learn of all your furry beloved ones. Hope your current kitty feels better soon. Phoenix, that’s hysterical about the “dying” Ragdoll! :D Boots must have too much Siamese in him, or was handled too roughly at his former owner’s home, but he HAAAATES to be picked up, held, or put on your lap. He will, however, snuggle you and does the flop *beside* you or at your feet… Weird.
