This is a gorgeous pick! I love pansies too. I wish it was warm enough here for them but alas it is snowing once again.

How I envy you, Nancy, to see flowers in February! Pansies are such happy hardy flowers in so many colors. Are you also seeing green grass? Nice pick reminding me it won’t be long…

The yard people put in new pansies every winter. Our temps don’t usually affect them. They might get a bit droopy but mostly when the sun comes out they are gorgeous again. And yes we do have green grass year round.

I haven’t seen snow yet this year but when I took my Teddy out for his walk this afternoon I could almost smell snow in the air. I was glad I wore a very warm jacket and scarf over my head.

We saw a flowering bush during the warm spell in the 60s and 70s but now we’re back into freezing at night and 40s in daytime. Maybe 50s tomorrow.

I love the yellow with the plum and the garnet- they are perfectly depicting panseys!!

In New Jersey, when I was in high school, that last winter seemed to hang on forever, and we were desperate for Spring. So Mom and I planted some of the new (then!) hybrid giant pansies – and they came up and bloomed right through the snow!
Wonderful spring pick! Our white clematis on the fence is now in bloom (through our very unusual snow!) and when the sun comes out, people drive by with their windows open to smell it!

What a very cheery pick! And I need to see cheery sights this time of year. Thanks!
