Description from Melody F: This pick is dedicated to
India, where the pandemic is causing many, many deaths. They are begging the world to help them. I have many beautiful beads from India that I collected years ago, mostly in Portland, Oregon. I may post a picture of some of them later.

Kathryn R says:Melody, thank you for your pick to bring attention to the COVID19 crisis in India. My daughter’s best friend came from India for college, became valedictorian, and worked hard to become an American citizen. She has contributed SO much to our community. But her family, whom I have befriended, is still in India and caught in the suffering of COVID. Our hearts go out to the people but real help needs to reach them.

dolllady aka Pam says:I saw on the news tonight that the first shipment of oxygen was sent from the U.S. today. Also that they have a new variant of the Covid. Hopefully some of the other countries will all be helping. Also that they will all be looking into that new variant. That is what the world thought about the original variant and look where we have been. Your pick truly reflects the country of India.
