Your pick reminded me of the penny candy ….gummy fish , gumballs, fire balls, Mexican hats , gummy bears in bowls on the counter of the general store each item cost a penny and you got a tiny paper bag to put them in ….could you even imagine that existing today LOL

Granny Nancy says:Thanks ya’ll. I was curious to see your responses. This was a fun and easy pick. Its always fun to see various responses. I love the take on penny candy. Didn’t even occur to me. But with your mentioning, I clearly remember the general store on the corner of the road I lived on. I’d go to get something for my Mom and use my saved allowance for penny candy placed into a paper bag. This is great guys.
