“Seahorse Wrap”

Description from EPBCornell: Ideas for a wrap bracelet with the seahorse button using 5mm beads in combinations adding to 12mm. Could be (4) 3x5mm rondelles, or a 2x5mm lined pewter spacer + a 4x5mm pewter tiny corrugated + (2) 3x5mm rondelles, or (2) 5mm melons + a 2x5mm lined spacer, or a 5mm melon + a 4x5mm corrugated + a 3x5mm rondelle. Or just (1) 12x9mm rectangle. Possibly add 3D effect with the petals sticking out like seahorse fins in places along the bracelet. Or for interest add the nautilus charm to the wrapping thread as you make your turn around the front of the leather cord binding the sides. Just some thoughts...
Oh, the tassel? Maybe just for some big fun earrings, or a simple pendant to go along with the bracelet. An extra.

I love it!! I am actually finding myself very inspired by your pick !! I might have to dig out my materials and finish up a wrap bracelet….I have many started and very few finished (I have no idea why I do that ) ….I love the idea of adding a tassle ….I meant to ask you Liz , are you originally from Maine? My aunt lives in Waldoboro and it is a lifelong dream to someday move up there ….new York is just “too much “sometimes

Your colors and components work beautifully together for an ocean themed piece! You could also make layered necklaces with one being the leather cord and tassel focal. I see a future POD.

Liz, you have the best ideas. This would make a wonderful wrap bracelet. Has anyone purchased the Czech rose petals? They look awesome and have been on my list of things to get. I like the subtle brown hues added to this pick. Great job!
