Description from Petunia: This pick was a slow process as I wanted to do my best to convey the message of my favorite song.
The song is called, “So will I,” and my favorite rendition of the song is sung by Amanda Cook.
This song has provided me so much Joy, happiness, gratitude & strength. I can’t put into words what my newfound faith in God has done for me. I suppose the closest term would be Peace. But, it’s much more than that. It’s like taking that first breath of air as a baby all over again; like having a massive weight lift off of your shoulders!
I heard this song for the first time after I was newly baptized. And again I heard it at a Christian Women’s conference. I cry every time I hear it.
My hope is that this pick will capture at least some of that feeling. And I also hope that this will inspire some of you to listen to the song, regardless if you consider yourself a Christian or not.
I used Jobs Tears because of their Religious significance & their beautiful grey color. The 6/0 Gold Toho’s are to be placed in the design to mimic Stars (as are the Star pendants). The Ammonite Czech glass is to include the Sea as well as the, “Golden ratio.” The double colored Czech glass rounds & melons are meant to symbolize combination and evolution. The flowers are an homage to Nature. I included the African Sandcast beads to add texture and to continue the color scheme. The gorgeous green/mint etched bicones are added for their color, shape, and antique look. The clasp of the Fish on the hook is a representation of Fishing—but—not for Fish. Jesus calls his disciples to be Fishers of Men. And at last, we have the rugged Gold Cross. This symbolizes the sacrifice that Jesus made on the Hill. The sacrifice which frees us from the totality of Sin & Death. No longer are we bound to our earthly bodies. We are now granted an eternity in Heaven!

Rejoice! Let us celebrate the Birth of our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ! Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
