“Summer of Love”

Description from BevB: I am listening to music from the 70's, and thought of the summer of love. I was too young to go to Woodstock at that time. I would be in my 30's when I finally got to walk around that town. So this is my tribute to the summer of love.

I should have added the summer of love was in 1967 in San Francisco. Some of us on the East Coast call Woodstock the summer of love too.

Yes, I wanted to go to Woodstock so badly…I was almost 20. I tried my best to be a groovy flower child -long hair, love beads, flower power, and the music! Beatles, Jefferson Airplane, Bob Dylan, …Bev, your pick takes me back!

I had long hair and love beads too…also a necklace with multi-colored beads and a peace sign. The same music…also Cream, The Grateful Dead. The argument who was better – The Doors or The Rolling Stones. Lol

I sometimes think I could have gone to Woodstock, it wasn’t far away. Then my son always says “No you couldn’t, you had me!” He was an infant then. But we had some great parties!
