Description from Melody F: With a few sunny days at last Salem, Oregon is full of flowers, greenery, and bird traffic. I saw the largest flock of geese I've ever seen the other day. They were headed north. Many plants are poking up from the ground, or leafing out from bare branches. It is tulip time around here. Our back yard no longer has a lawn as it is small and we grow veggies and fruit and flowers there, plus we have a small pond, a bird bath, and tiny deck. But we still have lawn in front-- the parking strip, and the front lawn, which has a hedge on two sides, shrubs along the driveway, and of course the house, which makes four "walls" to give our little lawn a bit of privacy. We sit out there sometimes, and watch the birds, and people walking their dogs.

Phoenix says:These greens are so vibrant! I especially like the Grace lampwork bird heart. I’ve always wanted a pond of some sort. We have a transportable fountain bought at a big box store that we set up in the summer which is an OK substitute for now! The birds and cats enjoy it. and the sound of the running water is peaceful.
