Description from Melody F: The dancing sparkle of tiny gemstones is so lovely. The new strands, with bead counts between 100 and 160, give lots opportunities to create delightful jewelry. The sizes will go well with delicate charms and drops, or they can be spacers between larger beads.

dolllady aka Pam says:I agree with your thoughts on those new beads. I just question how difficult 2 to 2.5 mm beads would be to work with. They very teeny.

Kathryn R says:Pam, I’ve worked with 2mm faceted gemstones, stringing or knotting between each bead. As long as you choose the correct gauge of stringing wire or thread, the result is dainty and nice. But I admit that I needed my magnifier. Melody, I envision 3-strand necklaces made from you wonderful pick. A fave!

Kats Pajamas says:I make a lot of loom work bracelets and chokers, as well as tapestries (when I have the patience) and these would be perfect as accents. Sparkling flower petals, perhaps a stamen or two that “pop” up out of the floral center. Tons of options!

Kathryn R says:Congratulations, Melody on your tiny gemstone POD! Kats Pajamas, I’ve never attempted loom work, but can imagine how gorgeous your pieces would be using these beads.
