Granny Nancy says:Most of these are ruby colors and actually I prefer them over the stark reds except for garnet. I’d love to make a ruby piece of jewelry of some sort. Ruby crazy lace agate is more affordable than actual ruby so that would be a place to start.

ClovisakaLois says:Nancy, I have some of the 4mm faceted garnets and the colored crystal drops that match the garnets (I suppose it’s garnet) are red enough looking that they almost look like rubies. Well, anyhow, they’re much more affordable!
