“Violet Splendor”

Description from Granny Nancy: Just needed to do something in a dark purple and violet seems to fill the bill. And with a touch of brass, it is fairly satisfying. Would have liked some faceted and more flower beads in violet.

Perfect substitute for February’s birthstone, Amethyst. Would like to see what you would have created with them.

Splendor indeed! I think the Grace lampwork heart is amazing. The dainty brass work really creates a beautiful backdrop for it. Very nice Nancy.

I’ve also gone nutty over deep purples this year. I love your pairing with the art nouveau bronze. That’s not a combination I would have thought of myself, and it’s wonderful!

You have inspired me to take apart a 1960s era bracelet to repurpose with some of the violet beads. I’ll probably add some ivory pearls for a bit of shine and contrast.
