This is gorgeous!! Beautiful winter scene. Sorry you guys are getting hit. Stay safe & warm. About the weird/extreme weather – we were in the teens night before last, and supposed to get into the mid 70s by end of weekend. ?!?

    Deb Harding says:

Brrr! Brrr! Brrr! Bare trees and ice and snow. Broken limbs, black ice on roads…stay home eat soup, drink hot chocolate. That would be my plan.
    Is the.chain for your tires??

You nailed it! Love this (not the weather, of course) icy, earthy, gorgeous pick!

BTW this.went to my faves because it is beautiful…lots of pearls and crystals!!! I also love vintaj pieces.

I’m sitting here listening to the constant drone of large planes doing practice maneuvers and the occasional rumbling of I guess percussion bomb practice. And flyovers.

Just had a tiny ice storm here. So I found this pic to set us all dreaming of warmer days and tropical places.

Beautiful wintery scene, Becky. The crystals and pears are great – combined they bring the cold to your pick. Wonderful!

Here in MD we are setting cold records again. Hasn’t been this cold (8 degrees last night) in 2 years! I emphasize :)

Your photo had me grinning, thanks!
I do not need any more reminders of this frigid weather; my dog goes out and howls with the wind !
But your pick is a perfect example of the landscape around here!!

I met a young man from New Zealand at work last night (I made him a sandwich). He was visiting his girlfriend from Boston and they were on their way up to northern Vermont. He said he’d been in the Carribean the day before … 90 degrees!!! … and now it was around 10 degrees … such a rude awakening for him.

Fabulous pick … positively “brrrrrr” producing! :D

Whoa! an 80 degree temp change is pretty harsh! We are diving back down below zero again in a few days. ugh. Today started with howling wind but right now it’s let up some….still too freakin’ cold, though! :) Deb, why aren’t we there??? (your pic)

Gorgeous pick, a fave–wish I could say the same about the weather. Still, we dodged the snow bullet so far in Chicagoland. Famous last words?

  14. Julie Shane
    Julie Shane says:

Beautiful and gorgeous!… the stones and pearls!
I do wish for just a LITTLE bit of this via vacation. Wearing shorts now and lamenting LACK of winter in FL.
Wish and pray for safety for all of you during this horrible weather.
