AKA Christine AKA Chicky Babe, one of the original “Chicks”. I live in New Hampshire with my parents, and at one time my Nana (maternal grandmother), who has since passed away. I’m currently in my 50′s, my birthday is in July. I’ve been beading since 2007. I’m the oldest of 4, I have 2 sisters (PA and ME) and 1 brother (NH), 4 nephews (2 in PA, 1 in NH, 1 in Montana at college) and 1 niece (ME). I’m an ex-RN currently working in retail to keep myself in … you’ve guessed it … BEADS!

My Nana’s bathroom (Mom’s mother), built around 1959, was this shade of pink with blue, and our bathroom, built 1964, had tile this color. So, all in all, very fond memories. Wonderful pick.

Glad you came through it all okay, Robin! These earrings are very retro-mod … way cool! They remind me of earrings and indian-beaded chokers of the 60′s and 70′s, but with an utterly modern twist.

Absolutely utterly brilliant Robin!!! They are gorgeous. You could make little themed hors d’oeuvres sets (like the two ones that look like Christmas candy and red tree) – they would sell like hot cakes.
