The 7th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Lima Beads has come to a close, and we have an important announcement to make 
Let’s get right down to business…
Leaderboard Gift Certificates
Everyone that was on the Leaderboard at the end of the hunt gets a $20 Gift Certificate. We sent them out this morning via e-mail… if you’re on the Leaderboard, you should have yours shortly. We never underestimate the dedication it takes from the “egg-splorers” in the Top 100. Great job, you’ve earned it!
The Grand Prize
The Grand Prize for a $250 Gift Certificate is awarded to one of the hunters in the Top 10 at the end of the contest by a random drawing. This year’s grand prize winner is…. M Chen! We drew her name out of a Twizzler container, and we posted a pic below of the slip with her name. Congratulations! She searched diligently from the first day of the hunt up until the weekend.
Looking Back…
It’s hard to believe that we’ve had 7 Easter Egg Hunts, and we took some time to look back at the fun we’ve had in previous years. Does anyone remember when there were only 16 eggs? We’ve come along way (and literally hundreds of thousands of eggs have been found since then). Thanks to everyone for their ideas and suggestions for next year’s hunt. We’re listening!

As always, we owe everyone a huge “Thank You” for taking part in the hunt. It takes a lot of time to pick out hiding spots and place all those little eggs, but that doesn’t come close to the amount of time you all spend trying to find them So thanks for helping make the week fun for everyone. We hope you enjoyed it! We hope everyone had a safe & happy Easter. Until next time…

Or the egg in the wheelbarrow that Steve was pushing? Of course the last two years of the search button. The sneakest one I found this year was the one in the lower right part of the page by the next button. Right where my finger was to scroll back up the page.
I usually advertise this hto the others I work with but when your self employed there are fewer people to be impressed by how cool of a marketing plan it is.

This year’s hunt was definitely not over-easy. Deviled competition was boiling so hard, I scrambled such I almost cracked! It was so close at the end, I thought I was poached, but there’s no way omelette that slide, right? The last few moments so eggciting I nearly dyed! I was totally fried by the time it was over, but I landed sunny side up because I found all these eggcellent products along the way. All yolks aside, I really hatched some new ideas to help me come out of my shell.

Seriously, my largest. cart. ever. coming up, here. Whoo! I guess I was behind some in hunting this year because I was so busy shopping, wow! And my order from the contest is already here! Like lightning!

Cat Bird Birdsong says:I remember/took part in every egg hunt except for last year. I was a little busy retiring from my job of 26 years. Over the years I have found the best prize for those of us who found less than 75 eggs was the discount coupon.
I did find the most (65) than I have before.
I have, for the most part, looked at the egg hunt as a very fun thing to do. My husband, a psychologist, and I had a laugh this year when he offered to create a support group for the family members and friends of the bead hunters.

I even have lists of where I found eggs each year. I refer to them during egg hunts to remind me of places to look. I can’t wait till next year’s Egg Hunt!
One question though – when does the 25 egg discount coupon code expire? It said both April 15 and April 30. Which is it?
