Boardwalk at Twilight Bracelet

I typically string and knot the Gaea bundles on leather. But, with these I wanted to try out the silk string to give the bracelet a softer feel.

Supplies you’ll need:

  • Gaea bundle
  • a couple extra beads if needed to make length adequate
  • Rustic Charms slide or a TierraCast Euro Bead
  • button
  • silk string to match

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

Knot the button on the the silk string first using an overhand knot, then dab with adhesive. Begin stringing on each bead, knotting in-between. I have found that it takes 2 overhand knots on top of each other to keep the beads from sliding around.

Step 2

With the sterlings silver slide, since the hole is even larger than that of the ceramic beads, I tied knots at both ends of the beads. I then strung the silk string back around and through the bead 2 times on opposing sides.

Step 3

Finish off the bracelet with a loop formed using an overhand knot. Make sure the button fits through without falling out of the loop, then dab the knot with a bit more adhesive to secure.
