Ivory Feather Earrings

I think that these earrings will go with almost every outfit in my closet :) The ivory color in the feather and waxed nylon combined with gold findings and lining in the Czech glass beads really helps to achieve a polished, yet artsy feel. I resisted the urge to do more last night to the earrings, and I'm glad I did!

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

Fold over top of feather adding a dap of glue to the end, pinching together. Wrap around that section with waxed nylon once and secure with knot.

Step 2

Continue to wrap the waxed nylon around like you would if you were wire wrapping. Tie off the end, knotting in the back, and burn off the excess cord right up to the knot using the thread burner.

Step 3

Now it's time to make a wire wrapped loop link. Begin by forming a large loop at one end to attach the feather, then string on 2 Czech glass rondelles, finishing it off with a much smaller loop.
