Diagonal Striped Friendship Bracelet

This friendship bracelet is created with a basic knot, and can be made with hemp or thread.

Supplies you’ll need:

Four 25" pieces of Hemp or C-Lon cord, each a different color

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

Gather the four strings together & tie a knot about 1.5" from the top.

Step 2

Start with string 1 (refer to picture) and loop it over & under string 2. Hold string 2 straight & pull the knot tight. Do this again so you'll have a double knot.

Step 3

Take string 1 and tie double knots around the remaining strands, working left to right. Make sure to pull the strands straight when tying the knots around them.

Step 4

Now, repeat steps 2 & 3. Start with the far left strand & tie double knots from left to right on all of the colors. Repeat until the bracelet is at your desired length. At the end, tie a knot and trim the ends so you have a 1.5" tail.
