Easy Earrings w/ Laser Etched Crystal

The metallic finish on these laser etched crystal beads is highly reflective, which is fantastic for a faceted bead alternative! The matte beads with their large holes are great for sliding onto decorative earring hoops and loops. These crystal pieces make great statement focals on earrings or on simple necklaces.

Supplies you’ll need:

2 of each laser etched crystal 8mm & 10mm
22 gauge wire
2 earwires to match wire
2 laser etched crystal rice
mix of 11/0 seed beads
2 silver hoops
2 laser etched matte crystal barrels
2 Nunn Design oval hoop earwires

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

When stringing beads onto hoops or loops, pretty much any wire that has been bent into a shape, test out stringing your bead first before committing to the design. I find a lot of my pieces are completed through trial and error :)
If you are stringing additional beads, I recommend adding a drop of glue then sliding the last bead into place. This will keep everything where it is supposed to be.

Step 2

I also like combining multiple sizes of beads by making wire wrapped bead links and wire wrapped charms - 8/10, 8/8/10, 8/8/8/10. I t just depends what length you are looking for.
