Felt Wreath Ornament

Project details:

in favorites

This sweet little wreath would add charm to your tree. You could make this wreath large enough to hang on your door too! I thought the felt needed a little more holiday spirit, so I stitched on a few snowflakes.
Just cut your wire at an angle and start adding on the felt, create a wire loop to finish.

Supplies you’ll need:

You will need 4 of each color of felt rounds, c-lon thread, a needle, and 18 gauge wire.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

Just cut your wire at an angle and start adding on the felt, create a wire loop to finish.

Step 2

Create a double or triple knot at the end of your thread and start your stitch. I pulled the thread really tight so the knot goes into the felt a bit. This is so it will be hidden.

Step 3

I stitched the same spot two-three times, then turned my needle to change directions as shown in the picture.

Step 4

After the snowflake is done create a loop with your thread and pull your needle through to create a knot.

Step 5

Keep doing these same step for each felt round.
