This delicate focal necklace is made with apatite chips & seed beads. I love how the gold stainless steel chain really makes the apatite stand out!

Supplies you’ll need:

Gold (plated) Stainless Steel Cable Chain (3')
Gold 22 Gauge Wire (1 spool)
Gold 3mm Jump Rings (1 pkg.)
Lobster Clasp (1)
Apatite Chips (1/2 Strand)
Gold 8/0 Seed Beads (1 tube)
Gold Headpins (1 pkg.)
Gold Spike Drop (1)

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

begin with two 11.5" pieces of chain. Make two bead links- slide on 2 seed beads, a 3" piece of chain, 2 more seed beads, a 3.5" piece of chain, 2 seed beads, a bead link with 11 apatite chips, 2 seed beads, a 3.5" piece of chain, 2 seed beads, a 3" piece of chain, and 2 more seed beads. Attach the link to the chain-2" from the bottom. Attach another link an inch below and slide on the chain and beads in the same order, except make the apatite link 1.5" long. Finish by attaching the spike to the bottom of the apatite link. Make bead charms with the headpins & one apatite chip & attach directly to the bottom of each piece of chain.
