These cork focals are perfect for creating an easy pair of statement earrings. For this design, I attached a gemstone to a small piece of chain hung from an ear wire, and then glued two cork focals together to sandwich the chain in between the two. I love the fun, unique shape of the cork & they're very lightweight-making them super easy to wear!
Using a headpin, make a bead charm with the Chrysocolla 8mm round. Attach the charm directly to a 1" piece of chain. Slide a piece of wire through the top of the cork focal. Slide the top link of the chain onto the wire, followed by another cork focal. Twist the wire together and make a loop at the top with round nose pliers- as you would to make a bead charm. Slide the loop onto an ear wire. Glue the two pieces of cork together.
