When I first saw these Czech glass melon teardrops, my first thought was that they would be perfect for earrings. I paired them with gemstones & bead caps to create a few different looks.

Czech glass melon teardrops
Czech glass hibiscus coins
Czech glass gold spacers
Headpins
Earwires
Jump rings
Gold 24 gauge wire
Bead caps
Freshwater potato pearls
Seed beads
Rock crystal faceted 3mm rounds
Amazonite tumbled nuggets

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

Begin by making a bead link with the 24 gauge gold wire- Slide on a bead cap, the Czech glass melon, a gold Bali spacer, and a purple seed bead. Next, use a headpin to make a bead charm- slide on a small gold seed bead and a Czech glass 7mm hibiscus coin. Attach the charm directly to the bottom of the bead link. To finish, slide the top loop of the bead link onto an earwire.

Step 2

Begin by making a bead link with the 24 gauge gold wire-Slide on a gold Bali spacer, a melon bead, another spacer, and a pink seed bead. Next, use a headpin to make a bead charm- slide on a small gold seed bead and an Amazonite nugget. Attach the charm directly to the bottom of the bead link. To finish, slide the top loop of the bead link onto a 10mm twisted gold jump ring. Slide the jump ring onto an earwire.

Step 3

Begin by making a bead link with the 24 gauge gold wire- Slide on a bead cap, the Czech glass melon, a gold Bali spacer, and a 3mm rock crystal faceted round bead. Next, use a headpin to make a bead charm- slide on a small gold seed bead and a freshwater potato pearl. Attach the charm directly to the bottom of the bead link. To finish, slide the top loop of the bead link onto an earwire.
