Love these particular shades of red and green together, Mary! I don’t know what name to suggest, but I can tell you that when I first saw this necklace, it reminded me of a snakeberry bush. lol :)

Very earthy and pretty necklace! When I saw this necklace, the first thing that came to mind was Sedona, AZ, with the red rock buttes and eroded canyon walls.

Eeka, what a wonderful design! :D My first thought was it reminded me of green olives with pimentos inside of them!!! LOL Then I saw Toad’s comment of “pimento” and couldn’t help but laugh again! :D

BTW, when my granddaughter (now 5 1/2 years old) was in the 2-3 age range, she used to call that type of olive “hot dog olives” because she thought they were stuffed with hot dogs!!! ROTFLOL Gotta love those little ones and their fun ideas! 8)

thanks, folks! btw, what is a snakeberry bush? never heard of it, much less seen one…

CAS, your use of the striped succor jasper pendant inspired me to start w/ the ‘stripey one in the litter’! wait till you see some of the other freeforms from the stand; equal if not better than this one.

Eeka, I love your design and color combo. I can’t find the red forest jasper or the forest green jasper on LB or anywhere else online. Are they listed by another name?

I’ve been thinking of this as ‘Red Scarab Forest’. It (& the green&red earrings) found a good home at my show this past weekend… so I could just call it ‘Sold’. But I DO like ‘Pimiento’… perhaps i’ll use that name for a future creation…
