Upcycled Tee Shirt

About this design:

Chickies, who among us has ever ruined a favorite tee shirt - perhaps it got shrunk in the dryer, or suffered a stain or rip that rendered it usless to wear - Well, I cut what was left of this lovely pink tee shirt into some 1 inch strips and turned those strips into necklaces. The multi-layered necklace has 3 strips, doubled to create 6 strands. The other 2 necklaces are one strip - 1 finished with a glass tile pendant (yup, it came from the garden department at $Tree, and the other is finished with a pink stone rice bead turned sidewise and hung from 2 copper washers. All 3 necklaces are finished with a "S" clasp hammered from 12G copper electrical wire.

1 ruined tee shirt and assorted stuff from the stash.
