Dream Catcher

About this design:

I recently learned how to make felt beads. This set of beads was made from yellow and peach roving. I started with wet felting and then needle felted on an additional layer to make them really fuzzy. I used a huge darning needle to pull a piece of 22 G copper wire through each bead. then I wrapped them onto a frame of 12G copper wire. Then I over-wrapped, adding small orange Czech crystals and then I found a piece of hammered copper filigree that fit just perfectand wired that in. Finally, I knitted a neck chain on my Knifty-Knitter using #18 black nylon and finished the ends with 2 copper washers and a hand made copper hook. The close up of the pendant shows the colors as true as I could get them with the lighting. The other picture is too light, but shows the set. These were an early Christmas present for my Mom.

This is really awesome! I have never felted before but canappreciate the time you must have spent on this. Also had no clue you could knit a necklace on the nifty knitter. This is really making me want to play with mine! Thank you for sharing!
