More Painting Fun

About this design:

So, today I had more fun experimenting with acrylic paints and a bag of very inexpensive base metal keyhole charms, plus a couple of brass links with deep grooved designs. After wiping off the partially dried paint with my fingers, I used a hairdryer to finish drying the pieces. Then, gave each a light brushing with 0000 steel wool to shine up the high places.

This is well worth repeating…this technique came from right here at LB. Look under the “tips and techniques” heading at the top of the page and watch the video. What a great resource for new inspiration and ideas. Thanks, LB!

The color combinations are great! You’re having way too much fun with the acrylic paint. I’m going to have to put that on my to do list. Project #187…. :D
