Pink Passion Wrap Bracelet With Chain Earrings

About this design:

I made these for a friend who is into pink.

I would have really like to make these with Swarovski Crystals but I used some random pink stone bead I recently bought from Michael's. I'm new to jewelry making(only a week). So sorry I can't give a more precise description on the materials used. Seed beads #11 in red, hot pink and light pink (all clear) Memory wire Fashion chain Red, hot pink, and light pink stones (crystals would look better though) Heart pendant Ear wires Eye wire 20 and 24 gauge jump rings

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1:
Cut memory wire so that it wraps around your wrist at least twice.
Step 2:
Make a loop at one end of the wire so the bead don't slide off. Fully close loop.
Step 3:
Start beading this pattern:

Light pink stone/crystal
Red, hot pink, and light pink seed beads
Hot pink stone/crystal
Red, hot pink, and light pink seed beads
Red stone/crystal
Red, hot pink, and light pink seed beads

Continue this bead pattern until you have about a 1/4 of an inch of wire left (or enough to make a loop).
Step 4:
Close you wire by making a loop at the end.
Step 5:
Measure 1 1/2 inches of fashion chain.
Step 6:
Bead your heart pendant onto the eye wire. If your eye wire is too long, snip off some wire so that you have just enough to make a loop.
Step 7:
Open a 24 gauge jump ring and attach it to the loop you made on your pendant.
Step 8:
Now attach one end of the fashion chain onto the open jump ring you just put your pendant on and close the jump ring.
Step 9:
Open another 24 gauge jump ring (I would have use 20 but the holes on my fashion chain were too small)and slide the other end of the fashion chain onto the jump ring and attach the jump ring onto the one of the loops on the bracelet and close tightly.
Step 10:
Now for the earrings cut the fashion chain into these lengths: 2 3 inches, 2 2 inches, and 2 1 inch.
Step 11:
Open 16 24 gauge jump rings and 2 20 gauge jump rings.
Step 12:
Bead following beads/crystals onto each of the jump ring: 6 light pink, 6 hot pink 4 red.
Step 13:
Starting with the 3 inch chain, insert the light pink jump ring into the first large link. Skip a large link, then insert a hot pink jump ring. Skip a large link and finally insert a red jump ring. Make sure all jump rings are close tightly.
Step 14:
Repeat the previous steps on the 2 inch chain and the 1 inch chain (the 1 inch chain will have only light pink and hot pink).
Step 15:
Open a 20 gauge jump ring and insert in this order making sure the pale pink is at the bottom: 3 in, 2 in, and 1 in. Attach ear wire and close the ring. Repeat on the second pair and you're done!
Step 16:
You can use any colors you wish, I just happened to use pink :)

If anyone makes this, I’d love to see a picture of it! Especially if you used crystals :)

Hi Chimere~~~~~~~These sure are pretty! Looks like you’re a ‘natural.’ :) The stones you used are really nice. I’m guessing the pink ones could be “Cherry Quartz” chips, which are man made, but soooo pretty. Thanks for posting all the instructions as well..I can see your point abut Swarovski crystals. They’re da bomb, but what you used is still lovely.

Thanks Nancy! And you’re right it is Quartz Chips (I remember the name on the tag now lol). I looked though the gems but I couldn’t find any that looked similar. I hope the instruction were clear :) please post a pic if you make this! I think I’ll make an orange pair too!
