Rings and Things

About this design:

Working on these wire wrapped rings yesterday, using silver plated non tarnishing artisan wire.
Sell tons of these. I learned how to make them by watching various youtube videos, after searching for "wire wrapped ring tutorial". These had the great advantage of being able to watch a step and pause the video, while I tried it. Or replaying it as much as I needed. I've made so many now that I could do these in my sleep!
Also made these earrings in sterling silver and copper with Czech glass beads.
Fresh Baked Designs

Rings: Artisan wire and various glass, stone, and cinnabar beads.

Ooooooh, Lynda — I’m in love! I adore making and wearing rings, so these caught my attention right away (especially after I received your blog e-mail this AM ;) )!!! Love both types of designs, too! :D

Congrats on creating #900!!! Here’s to many more, Lynda! 8)

I love making this type of ring too, and I learned the same way, off videos on youtube. Yours are very pretty.

I like the hammered metal on the earrings you made too.

Do you mind sharing what gauge of wire you used for the rings. These are so fab!

    Hi, Rocky,
I use 20 gauge, which fits most beads I use for rings. Occasionally need to go down to 22 (I wrap a few more times around the mandrel for strength) or can go up to 18 if the bead is very large.
Give it a try and get addicted to the fun!
