Fall Oak

About this design:

I made a series of these for a client's whose maiden name was oak. I used a stamped shrinky dink and handmade leaf clay cane slices in a vintage bottle-cap. I then wire wrapped it and drilled holes to add Swarovski chatons. I made a silk "chain" on a kumihimo disk and used the cones for the ends. To finish it off, I added leaf charms and an acorn made from a bead cap and wooden bead.

Vintage bottle-cap, resin, shrink film, stamp, ink, liver-of-sulfer, polymer clay, Swarovski chatons, silk thread, kumihimo disk, sterling silver 20 gauge wire, wooden bead, silver-plated bead cap, plated leaf charms, silver plated cones, sterling silver clasp and jump rings.

This is impressive the way you dressed up the bottle-cap and turned something simple into a really cool and beautiful necklace.
