Me and kumihimo

About this design:

Kumihimo. I am going to Russia to see my grand daughters and considering that they need to be entertained I thought Kumihimo in the simple way may interest two younger ones and in more progressive way the older one and even my daughter in law :) So... First I had to learn... so it is what I did ..and... do.
This is my first completed work. The bracelet is too big though on my wrist so I will tie a knot in the middle and it looks great :) IMHO lol

Jute cords, Czech glass seed beads 6/0 Amethyst Mix, Sterling findings Silver plated cones and just silver color metal on the toggle ...

Mary, It will take you a day to practice with the braids of different texture and once it clicks you are ready for beads! The only thing to remember: that each bead goes under the spiderweb of threads in the middle. :) You just get in the rhythm :)
