Beads on a Cob

About this design:

Herringbone stitched mini-rope with Picasso seed beads with a beaded disc of turquoise Picasso beads, and topped with a Picasso mini-dagger. Didnt think that it would look like a corn cob until I took a close-up photo!

soo cute–and adorable little things! Keep going, you are so inspiring–wish I could put out my own designs as quickly as you. How do you do it? Does it come easy. I have lots of little box’s of things that just don’t ring the bell for me and I get so discouraged sometimes. You’re doing great. Sincerely E

Oh–I can’t stand it —All you make is drop D gorgeous! I am comenting on All to save words. Perfection in color choices and NOT over done. Sometimes other beaders work is too gaudy or clumpy and overworked. Yours is very elegant looking, and calm but striking, It’s hard to explain. Bead weaving, I love it too! thats where I started about 20 years ago–I’m still crawling along in all my jewelry phases. E

@beadelena, Such kind compliments – I dont know what to say! I also struggle a lot with what might work and what wouldnt and from a “beader’s block”. The best way to move forward is to give anything a shot – if you dont like it, you can always unsow it :) .

There are lots of cool inspirations on this website and on Etsy.

Lately, I am struggling with leather wrap bracelets. Have made four – the designs are fine but the finishes are ghastly. Planning to unsow them all when I muster the courage and then, start over. You will certainly see my acceptable ones on this website, I hope :) .
