Lamp Light

About this design:

Won these gorgeous lamp work beads in another giveaway and a bit nervous to use them. I decided on a simple wire work frame with hammered annealed steel wire. Added oxidized sterling ear wires with a touch of turquoise.

Lamp work beads, annealed steel wire, sterling silver, seed beads

Thanks everyone for your kind remarks about this design. I’m still learning that sometimes ‘less is more’ in jewelry design. When I was first starting out, I wanted to try out (show off) and include almost every technique or skill I had learned in a design. And all the cool beads I was acquiring, as well. I was just that excited about what I was learning! Now, I see the need to judiciously edit a design to achieve the best look or goal of each piece of jewelry. Boy, it this hard sometimes.
