Amethyst and Twisted Tubular Herringbone

About this design:

An Amethyst Geode that I did a beaded bezel and made it into a pendant on a Twisted Tubular Herringbone Necklace. I am thinking about taking the pendant apart and just putting a sterling silver ice pic bale on it...not sure yet, I keep thinking the beading has taken away from the Amethyst.

Forgot to mention that I also used 4mm purple glass pearls…the colors did not translate very well…I am not a photographer.

I think it’s awesome, just the way it is. I can see why you might 2nd guess it,if you’re the designer. My first imression, was “ pretty and purple.” Must admit that it took a few seconds to focus in on the wonderful geode.
I hope that doesn’t read as a critique. It’s just they way it caught my eye. Your pics are fine. Purple is so hard to photograph.
At any rate..your work is fab!!

I had the same reaction as Nancy–wow is this nice, and then looking for the details of the geode. I think either way would be ok, so if you are really not sure, just leave it as is because it is a really stunning piece!
