Tiger's Eye, glass, and cloisonne

About this design:

This is one of two necklaces using not only Tiger's Eye, but also a unique set of glass beads called "Venetian-Indian hybrid" beads. These beads began their journey from Venice, using raw Venetian glass rods. Purchased by a company in India, they were manufactured in an Indian factory. However, due to several problems (they were not "Venetian", per se, so they could not be called Venetian; they were not Indian because they could not be sold in India), they were sold at amazing prices to bead designers worldwide. I then picked these up at a small store in San Francisco, and the rest in history.

The central bead is a black cloisonne ball, and the necklace itself is peppered with dragon-carved Tiger's Eye. The clasp is antique pewter.
