Emerald City Double Bracelet

About this design:

I just love these green gem beads. These ones were different shapes which I thought made a cool combination.

emerald green glass beads in variety of different shapes, silver plated bali spacers, 6mm and 8mm sized black onyx round beads, .5mm clear stretch cord.

Hi Krystal…this is so weird. I just used that color combo the other night. I’m glad to see someone else likes it. I’m new to stretch bracelets. Can I ask you if you use glue on the knots? I just did 2 square knots.

Oh..wanted to add that the cube bead looks great!!

    KRYSTAL H says:

Thanks. I actually use clear nail polish on the knot. It holds really well and isn’t messy. It also makes it easy to slide the knot inside the bead next to the knot. I pull it inside a bead to prevent any stress on the knot from wearing it and taking it on and off.

Oh,thanks so much! I do have that on hand.
My knots are a bit noticiable. Guess I need to use thinner cord.
    Much appreciated. :)

    KRYSTAL H says:

No problem. I use .5mm and .7mm cord. I usually tie 2-3 knots really tight. The .7mm is the thickest I use. Both work really well for necklaces and bracelets.

Krystal.. I really appreciate the tips. They’re so helpful. I have a few “do overs” but it now it’s starting to make sense.
    Cheers! :)
