# 5 & 6

About this design:

This is the end of the road for this particular style of necklace. I think I've taken it about as far as I can.

The first one was made from part of another necklace that bombed. Regroup... Add some chain and a new necklace is born. The second one was made from a copper curlicue I had made some time ago and had added some extra color with the torch.

The chain I have been using I got from LB. It is a perfect size and color for just about all of the copper work I do. I may need to order a whole spool of it.

copper wire, gold line turquoise magnesite, copper chain from LB, hand made hook clasps, Czech glass beads

Lovely design! The copper warms up the turquois beads so nicely.

Peggy, Chicky LE does a great job describing how “chicks” came about…but I’ll try!

The story goes a bit like this: Every year in Spring, LB hosts the eagerly awaited(or dreaded)Egg Hunt. Beaders wait all year to hunt the magical Golden Eggs, and win many prizes! People stay up for DAYS, searching and searching…saying to themselves “Just one more, and I’ll go to bed!”, but alas, they never do…One year, before I found LB, the egg hunters decided to change their screen names to Chick to add to the fun!
