# 7

About this design:

I distinctly remember saying #5 and #6 were going to be my last asymmetrical necklaces.

Weeeell there were beautiful green emeralds (not gem quality), a nice copper wire section and about 24 inches of LB antiqued copper chain. They looked so right together I had to make a necklace with them.

Since I didn't have any small emerald beads I had to look through the stash for some that were the right color. Problem solved using some of the African jade pebbles that were almost almost identical in color. Emeralds and jade. Who could ask for anything more?

I'm not completely sold on the pendant so I'll just watch it for a while and see if any of the components look to out of place.

copper wire, chain, clasp, 4mm beads, daisy spacers and jump rings, emerald beads, African jade, luster finished Czech glass in three sizes, square copper bead frame, a small piece of copper sheet and one little carnelian pebble.

#1: I don’t know why you are “retiring” this style when it is SO pretty! And each piece is so different. You may not see “difference” but I do. Each piece is unique with it’s own personality.

#2: This might be my FAVE of all of them. The green and copper are awesome. Emerald is THE color this year. (And it’s my birthstone.)

#3: The pendant cluster is adorable! Don’t touch it!

I am a fan of anyone who thinks outside the box—even though I tend to be symmetrical myself most of the time! LOL I love the design, materials and colors. I think you rocked it!

RowdyGirl, I not only think outside the box I live there much of the time. It’s a great place! :D

You are all so encouraging maybe I’ll shoot for #8 or #9. I love working with informal balance and have for many years. When I was still teaching art in the public school I did quite a bit of work with the kid using both formal and informal balance.

Thought for the day: Old artists never die they just loose their perspective. :D

Nancy I’m not sure why you would want to retire a design that you excell at. This one is really unique…your pendant is very very cool. If you hadn’t told me the green stones were 2 different things I would have never kmown.
