Peacock Plumes

About this design:

I was totally inspired by this month's Art Bead Scene blog challenge and had the perfect lampwork bead in my stash. This is my first time entering the challenge. I constantly struggle to get my brain to wrap around asymmetry, so I'm pretty happy with the results here. This is the first piece in a long time that I made for myself.

Lampwork glass bead; Vintaj Fussy Peacock focal, disk spacers, melon beads, findings, and chain; bronzite, pyrite, and a variety of Czech glass. Most from Lima Beads.

Thanks for the kind words everyone! I really wish I knew who made the lampwork bead…it’s even prettier in person with just a touch of metallic iridescence.
