Graceful Needlepoint

About this design:

LB has these Grace Lampwork beads, but they rarely show up in picks. Take another look! I think they have the charm of Victorian needlepoint.

Lampwork beads, iris and black seed beads, bronze rounds, antique brass bead caps and clasp, Czech brown-picasso fire polished rounds

Beautiful! the iris seed beads are perfect with the leaves in the lampworks. I’ve looked at the beads several times, but always got stuck with the dark background and didn’t think to highlight the leaves. Good choices!!!

This is a daisy stitch. It’s basically making a circle and then adding the center bead. Not too hard for those who want to try bead weaving.

Deb, you need to make the circle, go past the first (top) bead to the second bead. String on your center, go through the second-to-bottom bead (opposite side) and then the bottom bead. Now you’re ready for the next circle.

Its been a long time since I did that…like 1983 I guess. I just found one of the little hippie bracelets I used to make like that.
