XL Staples and Recycled Glass

About this design:

Found more of the very large copper colored staples that I had put away ages ago. Also found recycled glass beads from who knows where or when. Here they are all together!

I love the frosted pale blue color of the glass. They are gorgeous beads but definitely hand crafted with a lot of variations. Unfortunately I only have 2 or 3 staples left but they might work for a pair of ear rings. I need to find a new source for staples!

I echo the above comments. Also, I like the variation in lengths of the “staple dangles.”

Thanks for the compliments everyone. :D

Julie, the staples are the very large ones that are used on heavy packing boxes. More often than not they are used on the bottom. I got them from a friend who had ordered 2 of the electric faux fireplaces. She took them off the bottoms of the packing boxes.

YESSSSS!! Re-purposing & re-using items! So creative, LRC!! I’m jealous of folks who have an eye for the ‘re-imagined’ :)

    Thanks everyone.

I must admit I had never thought of using XL staples for jewelry until my friend asked me if I could use the ones she had taken from the boxes.
She’s the one who pointed me in that direction. :D
