Swirly Triangle

About this design:

This is the pendant I created in class today. It still needs to be patina'd with liver of sulfur.
It all started with a simple triangle frame. Then... it took *A LOT* of practice, but I learned how to make the TINY swirls... then I made LOTS of them!

Swarovski cosmic bead and 4mm bicones in aqua. 18g, 22g and 24g copper wire.

Wow! The swirls combined with the aqua crystals remind me of waves on the water. Great job, Julie!

Thanks everyone. This was such a fun (but stressful) class! There were times when I quit breathing for minutes at a time… ;)
Susie, that’s why I decided to use the aqua stone. It looks so pretty –and beachy– with the copper.

So freakin’ cool!!! I would almost be tempted to leave the copper as is because it looks so gorgeous with the crystals!

I have to order the liver of sulfur and get brave enough to tackle the odor!
The copper looks so classy, but it looks SUPER awesome on the pieces she did in sterling. The sample is silver with amethyst!!! Awesome! I’m way to afraid to work with sterling! One mistake … :(

Becky, It’s like I’m learning 2 or 3 different techniques/ideas in 1 class. Too much to absorb. Need to spend a little bit of time with each thing.

Wow! You did a great job! I’ve got to take a wire wrap class sometime. Would love to see it after the liver of sulphur but it’s beautiful just as it is.

Isn’t wire fun? Love what you have done with the wire in this design. More, more, more! :D

The wire will oxidize on its own. You can get some outstanding color. Of course there is always the torch… before the beads!!! What ever you do I am sure it will look fantastic because the basic design is excellent. :)
