Blizzard Bracelet

About this design:

I made this piece during the recent blizzard. I found a tutorial online called "Stacking Wrap Bracelets" and this is the result. I do need to practice my silk wrapping!!

Leather cord; C-lon thread; Miyuki seed beads; pewter button

Love those colors. So you used that silk wrap technique instead of knotting. Lois was telling me about that. I need to try it.

PS: glad to know you made it through the blizzard safely.

Ahhh, Miyuki’s. That would make it a little easier to keep the little buggers from squirming away. :)

The 6mm peas in my pod wrap were soooo hard to control. How did you manage with those tiny seed beads? My hat is off to you.!

Maria! First: If I was stuck in a blizzard I would sleep sleep sleep… I might bead bead bead… I am pretty sure I would not volunteer for combat with tiny little seedbead creatures like this! ;)
Very pretty. Glad you are safe… questionable on the “sane” !!!

I have made a wrap with three rows of 6mm chez beads. Looks pretty good but at the end I had some loose thread that I couldn’t tighten up. The first one I made is awesome. It has five rows, mostly seed beads and is of Aztec pattern. Took me all day to lay out design, lay out beads, then make. However, it puckers, even though on each side I started with one, then two, etc. til I got to five beads. Do you have suggestions on how not to pucker the rows.
