harpy queen bling

About this design:

I made this for the challenge, although I didn't repurpose, just recycled. I had been given the hematite necklace, but was never going to wear it. Bought the harpy queen a while ago, but just had not been able to decide what to do with her. However, I am not sure that I like the hematite with the purple and orange. Might take it apart.

GGS harpy queen, poppy crystals, metallic gold raspberry crystals, carnelian tubes, all from LB, pewter spacers from stash, recycled hematite beads.

It’s an unusualy color combo, but I like it. The hematite is great with the harpie. :)

If you aren’t sure about the color combo put the necklace out of sight for a week then give it a second look. It may surprise you. :)

There’s that art teacher and her sage advice. :) You do need a fresh eye to decide about the color. :) I think it is very cool but it needs to make you happy! :)

Think you designed a winner here, Jolene. But also agree with the advice to put it away and get a second look at it – - to me it’s a lovely necklace just as it is now.
