Both are gorgeous…I would be hard pressed to decide between them!

The nice faceting on the variscite really shows up here.

Me too love them both!! And darn Becky now I need to buy variscite too, can’t resist anymore, I think.

Becky do you think you can cut the pictures, so one sees the designs clooser. I’m not old nor have bad eyes but wanna look closer :P

My camera is crap. Any closer and it blurs up even worse than it is. Amber comes back tonight. I will have her take a bunch of pictures for me. She owes me for dogsitting her huskie mix and her Yorkie. I had 2 extra dogs for 5 days–one 65 lbs and very protective, and the other a 4 lb. biscuit who liked to cuddle. My own dog was totally befuddled by the 2 different personalities. :)

Oh, and I meant Eeka inspired the 2 designs. :) thanks for the suggestions!

She works with me at the hospital, too, and we both have the same goal of getting creative businesses going so we can both cut back to half time. :) Right now we are doing favors for each other to get going. I will find her facebook page for her photo biz and email it to you so you can look at her first pictures. She does portraits & I think she is very good at it.

Becky, I love them both! I’m partial to the seashells, but….the variscite is amazing! I want it really bad! Trying to abstain, as there’s a big bead show ina few weeks…

Susia, I will send you better pics of both for the chickies shop as soon as I can get pics from Amber.

No worries, Becky. I’m just listing pieces here and there, trying to pace myself. What do you think our target date should be?

Both are awesome. I like the shell and pearl for the whimsy. I like the variscite for the simplicity of design.

Very pretty and summery. I love the Variscite, have never heard or seen it before.

Is variscite the one that is turquoise colored? I love those earrings. I’m real partial to turquoise.

  18. puppychick labratbecky
    puppychick labratbecky says:

Yes, Nancy. It is that stone. It seems to be much harder than real turquoise and the shine is phenomenal.
