Lilac and Copper

About this design:

These ceramic beads are from Bo Hulley's etsy. I would probably have used pewter with lilac except that Bo's toggle had a piece of copper. So glad! I like the mix of ceramic and glass and stone.

Lima: TierraCast copper 6petal links, 4flowers heishi, 8mm floral rounds. Charoite 8mm rounds. Stash: faceted glass rounds, tiny bellflowers. Bo Hulley: ceramic beads and toggle.

Fabulous colors–I can’t seem to get enough of periwinkle/lavender/cobalts lately. The copper is perfect with the lovely ceramics.

So cute Julie. Bo Hulley beads are just adorable. I follow her on facebook and you should see some of the new bracelet bars.

Deb, I have seen them. Love the new dragonfly she’s created! I have one of her LEAF bracelet bars in bright apple green. Haven’t decided what to do with it yet. It is calling out for brass. Maybe I’ll use some chain with it… I like how you add texture and detail with chain! :)

During one of my Egg Hunt adventures (???) I found a super cool seed bead. It’s Dark Sapphire with Copper lining, #734. Not sure what I’ll do with it since it’s treasure #1, but it’s in my cart.

BTW: I personally blame both you and Miannda for causing LimaBeads to stock SO MANY seed beads… and thus to have caused me so much grief!!! LOL :)

I’ve been incubating the idea of iolite w/ dark blue crystals… now thinking about putting copper with them….

Periwinkle is one of my favorite colors. There are not enough different bead choices out there in this color if you ask me. Other colors hard to find are peach and a good burgundy that doesn’t look black. Any body else have this problem? Anyway, Julie your pieces are great! Love the color combos :)

Oh Periwinkle? Don’t even get me started. That beautiful “almost purple/almost blue” hue is so pleasing to the eye.

What a scrumptious collection of beads – - and you put them together perfectly. Am glad there was a touch of copper to start, because it works so well with the fab shades of purple/blue. Another great creation, Julie !
