Black & White

About this design:

Here is a black and white necklace I put together for my daughter.

I am not sure if the stones are Onyx or Agate. I have seen them listed both ways. The white sticks and beads are Howlite I purchased from LB.

Very classy. I love the black/white look. I’m sure she’ll love it. Can I ask you what sort of beading wire you use for your necklaces?

Very nice. The sticks really break up the line of the beads and add great contrast.

Great contrasts of both color and shapes, Ed. This is indeed a striking design and hope your daughter wears it often !

Nancy, I use either a 19 strand .015 or a 49 strand .018 Both of which are made by Beadalon.

I am finding, as I get further into this beading, that in a single necklace I like: a) to use just a few different kinds of stones, b) several different shapes, c) a stone with lots of movement with the other stones having little no movement, d) only 2 or 3 different colors.
