Angie' Quest

About this design:

My sister wanted a copper necklace, but an unusual one, and earrings. Well here it is! A pair of Copper earrings in a Middle-Eastern style to go with the Copper and Cloisonne necklace. It is different and she loved the colors so much she went out and bought a V-neck sweater and Teal Blue boots to match! Where she got Teal Blue Suede boots I never knew but they were an exact color match. Now that is loving a piece of jewelry!

Copper and enameled Cloisonne. Copper clasp and findings. The ear wires on the earrings are Vermeil

Suleika, I can see why she loves it! I’d have gone out and bought stuff to match it, if I didn’t have it, too! Where ever did you get such stunning cloisonne? I’m not a traditionalist when it comes to cloisonne, I like the more off-beat designs (for which this qualifies) and I LOVE this.

Gorgeous, Suleika!! I agree with CAS, I prefer the more “non-traditional” cloisonne pieces. This necklace really pops and grabs your attention.

TOTALLY cool, Suleika! I love the cloisonne you used, too. What do you have at the top for the clasp?

Thanks ya’ll. To answer the questions: the Cloisonne was obtained from Canada. I was only able to get the pieces you see on the necklace. They were bought out really fast even though they cost a bit per piece. As to what is on the top, it is a large Copper clasp. Rather odd shape but it suited the piece. My designs are usually pretty basic, but I have a nice collection of lovely clasps and try to find a clasp to go specifically with the piece I am making. Each necklace is one of a kind, as I take pictures of each so as not to repeat. Other reason I take pictures is in case a piece does come apart I can put it back as it was designed, unless the beads are no longer available. My memory bank’s not what it used to be! BTW…you can each take a bow for the amazing designs I have seen in the gallery so far!
