Peachy Pearls

About this design:

I bought 2 of those $1.00 pendants. I would have bought 3 if they had them. This is not the design I intended to do at all but I like it. Still hoping to find a 3rd pendant I have another idea with glass & different ceramic beads.

The connector piece had a loop hole on top at 1 time. It broke off so I filed the piece smooth.

Cant decide if I want to redo it with peach cord or darker brown or leave it.

Peach leaf ceramic pendant. Brass connector piece. Peach & brown glass pearls. Copper chain & toggle. S-lon cord.

I personally love it as is. I think the contrast of the darker cord makes those pearls pop. :)

I love this one too! The way the pearls dance along the length of the cord, they look like woodland berries. :-) I like!
And the brass connector is the perfect addition!

I just reread–this is the middle color? hmmmmmm I still like it as is. :)

Perfect as it is. I like the peach as a contrast to the cord and the dark pearls. Peach cord would make the pendant and peach pearls all blend together.

Wow Deb..this is pristine work. Did you take a class for that? If you did,it was money well spent. I also like the contrast of peach and brown. It’s very earthy.

Thanks Becky, Julie, Asia, Mary & Nancy. Nancy…a class for what? I’m not sure what part you’re asking about…but I’ve never taken any jewelry making classes. I do read… books, magazines, tutorials, blogs… anything I can get my hands on.

Love the way you knotted the beads and the connector between the necklace and pendant. This would go with any outfit.

I like it the way it is. The peach pearls echo the focal so you don’t need to change the cord color. Very, very nice!

Oops Deb..sorry bout that. I was talking about the great work with the weaving and knotting of the Pearls. It’s unreal that you’ree self taught,or can even do that with tutorials. It looks like the sort of thing I’d need to have “hands on” instruction. I’m blown away! ;)

No prob Nancy I just didn’t understand what you meant. As far as classes, cant really afford those right now, I’m too “into everything” you can possibly try so I would have to take multiple classes, I like step by step photos & books with written directions so I can look at the process for as little or as long as I like, classes can be too restrictive in wanting you to do it “their” way. I’ve taught myself to do embroidery, sew, build things, garden….many things too numerous. I even cut and dye my own hair (sometimes it looks that way lol). I am extremely imdependent.

LOL That pendant is $1.00 at wally world. Look on the bott om shelf where all that mixed up stuff is in that tray. There are several ceramic pendants there. Pearls are from a mixed glass string at Michaels. Thank you..:)
