Beachcomb Challenge

About this design:

My daughter went on a school trip yesterday and came home with a large bag of shells and beach combing finds. She handed me a number of (large) shells and other finds and asked if I could make her a necklace! I rummaged in the bag and managed to make a pendant. She was thrilled with it.

Sea glass, shells, copper wire, glue, leather cord, glass beads

This is beautiful; I can see why she was thrilled! I love how you ‘framed’ a few of the pieces with copper wire. A very clean, or simple, presentation (if that makes any sense). LOVELY!

What a fascinating creation. She must love wearing it.
It looks like something you would find in a Martha’s Vineyard shop for big bucks. You literally turned flotsam and jetsam into a work of art. ;)

Its gorgeous. A great remembrance of her trip. Now you’ve made me want to dig through my many many boxes of sea shells.
